Last updated May 12, 2026
Welcome to Fialo (Family Information And Life Organizer), a household- records product operated by Sureguard LLC (“Sureguard,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Fialo (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.
Your account
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for any activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may invite household members and trustees; you remain responsible for what they do inside the Service.
Your content
You keep ownership of the records, files, photos, notes, and other content you add to Fialo (“Your Content”). You grant Sureguard a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you and the household members you authorize.
You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or violate any law.
Acceptable use
Don’t do any of the following with the Service: violate the law; harass anyone; upload malware; attempt to bypass auth or rate limits; reverse engineer non-open-source components; resell or sublicense the Service; or use it to store other people’s data without their permission.
Affiliate & sponsored links
Some recommendations inside the Shop drawer are affiliate links (including Amazon Associates) or paid placements. As an Amazon Associate, Fialo earns from qualifying purchases. Affiliate relationships do not influence how the core record-keeping features behave.
Subscription & billing
Pricing, billing cadence, and trial terms are described at purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
No legal, medical, financial, or tax advice
Fialo organizes the records you give it. It is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney, doctor, financial advisor, accountant, or other professional. Always confirm important decisions with a qualified person.
Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may schedule maintenance and we may modify or discontinue features.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the Service or other users. Upon termination, we will delete or anonymize Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sureguard disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sureguard’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these Terms; we’ll post the updated version here and refresh the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
